Catedral_Cadiz Catedral de Cadiz

The beautifully painted cathedral in Cadiz is a baroque-neoclassical construction, which looks best from the seafront Campo del Sur when the sun is about to set. The project for this monument began in 1716 but due to a lot of delays it was only rounded up in 1838 when neoclassic features were prominent, thus diluting the original plan of its architect Vicente Acero.

Also, all you need is one single ticket to view the all museums including the Museo Catedralicio which has a lot of religious treasure. Furthermore just east of Cadiz is the cathedral’s Torre Poniente which is great for climbing( although it is still closed as at the time of filing this in)
